WestFit COVID-19 Thread

Following the Governor’s mandates on non essential businesses, WestFit will remain closed till May 4th. All Memberships will continue to be held on a no fee freeze. As updates happen we will post here and send an email to all members. Please stay safe and we hope to see everyone soon.

Monday, March 16th
Due to the coronavirus situation and the Governor’s recent declaration WestFit will be closing as of 8:30 pm today March 16th through April 5th as recommended by the state. Even though we believe exercise is one of the best ways to remain healthy, we must all do our part to stop the spread and protect those at risk in our community. WestFit will continue to follow the recommendations of the city, state and federal health officials with the hope of reopening as soon as it is safe to do so.
We understand you will have many questions. We have tried to answer the most anticipated questions in our FAQ section below. We ask for your patience and understanding as we sort through the situation at hand.
Please be safe and take the necessary precautions for you and your family.
When will we Re-Open?
Determining a reopening date is difficult at this time. As of right now the Governor is recommending closing through April 5th. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the city, state, and federal health officials guidelines. We will communicate through email as well as posting updates on our website.
What happens to my membership?
All active memberships will be placed on hold. Once we are able to re-open your membership will be reactivated.
What about my membership dues?
All members will be issued a credit for the unused portion of this month as of March 15th. Credits will be issued on to your account. We have many accounts and this will be a manual task so we do ask for your patience in this regard.
What about pre-paid group programs and lessons?
All prepaid group programs such as swim lessons, tennis lessons, tennis contracts and specialty programs will be paused. When we resume operation we will schedule the remaining classes and programs before starting new sessions.
What about Personal Training?
All Monthly PTMs will be placed on hold same as membership dues.
We understand this may not answer all your questions. Please give us time to work through the situation as it unfolds. We will get to all your concerns. The club will not be staffed during this time.
